Thoughts on KAIST Promotion

I think KAIST should appoint some students who can promote and advertise a bit more about KAIST in some countries. From my personal experience I can easily say that a lot of students still don’t know about KAIST in a lot of foreign countries. At least, in India and Australia, I can say that very few students have idea about our university. It is kind of sad as well that a lot of talented minds across the globe aren’t applying to such a great university because of lack of proper knowledge. I think ISSS should bring in the idea of student ambassadors where the students get to visit cities across the globe and introduce kids to KAIST.I can easily say that a lot of talented students don’t have idea about this university otherwise there can be more students coming in from India.

KAIST can also have a group of international undergraduate students who can help out the new students in settling down. The international undergraduates usually have a lot of questions regarding choosing the major, getting used to the environment and food at KAIST.So it becomes much better for them if there are international undergraduates from their own countries who can help them out with all the questions.
